A Note From the Editor

Hello stitching friends!

We are excited to unveil for you our annual collection of holiday designs in this 2022 issue of Just CrossStitch Christmas Ornaments! Just like Santa’s bag, these pages are packed full of special things and fun surprises. Offering exclusive designs from the hearts and hands of over 70 of the world’s finest designers, these patterns were handpicked especially for you.

We’ve sought out an amazing collection that we hope will make all your cross-stitching wishes come true. Ten chapters, each featuring a different holiday theme, will keep your needle and thread busy right up until Christmas Eve and beyond because, as we all know, the fun of crafting holiday projects can last all year long!

Looking for something traditional? Check out the Olde World Wishes or Yuletide in Blue chapters for time-honored treasures. Is your sweet tooth calling? The answer might be found in Sweet Treats, which is filled with designs decked out in gingerbread, sugarplums and more. Perhaps a merry little animal pattern is what you seek. The Festive Reindeer or Holiday Critters chapters will be the perfect place to start your search. Take your time and enjoy a browse through this special issue—you’re sure to find many ornaments you’ll want to get started on right away.

So, get your sticky notes ready or fold over the page corners to tag your favorite Santa, snowman or angel patterns! Whether you stitch these beautiful ornaments to adorn your own tree or as lovingly handmade gifts for others, we hope that this issue brings you as much joy as our team experienced while preparing it for you. From the entire Just CrossStitch team, we wish you the happiest of holidays!

Merry Christmas,

Whether it's designing and stitching, home improvement projects or just about any DIY or crafting project in between, I'm up for the challenge. There's nothing more satisfying than learning something new and sharing the experience or knowledge with someone else. I think that is why my work with the Just CrossStitch team is so rewarding. I love to connect the readers with amazing designs that bring them joy and inspire them to create."
