It was like Christmas morning when I received two needlework kits from Vervaco, a company in Belgium. My mother always gave me kits like these for Christmas when I was growing up. The first is from the I Stitch! Kids 4 Kids collection. The kit includes printed cotton canvas, yarn and a tapestry needle. This would be a good needlework introduction for a young child. The other kit from Vervaco is a floral table runner. The design is printed on flax-color cotton fabric with a hemmed, woven border. The markings wash out after the table runner is completed.
